I believe first and foremost we should learn music by playing songs we enjoy ourselves. Gone are the days of learning pieces you’re not interested in but your teacher says you have to play! I will work with you personally to break down music you want to play, understand it at a music theory level, and piece it together into a cohesive lesson to teach you the fundamentals of violin or guitar. I particularly like to focus my teaching on improvisation and composition.
